So, what makes the HJ250 more than just good – and almost perfect? The answer to this isn’t just one thing, but rather a combination of various features that makes this machine unrivaled.
Before beginning a journey it’s customary to know a bit about your companion, and similarly, the HJ250 has the potential to be your companion for future biking adventures. Let’s get to know a bit about this beast of a machine and what it has to offer.
Power and Efficiency
At the heart of the HJ50 is the single-cylinder, 4 stroke, liquid-cooled engine supported by a singled overhead camshaft (SOHC) setup which makes this machine more agile without losing any power. It also has a horsepower of 30.15bhp @9000rpm along with a net maximum torque of 22.5nm @7000rpm (77mm bore and 53.6mm stroke). Further, the power output is perfectly balanced with the help of the 11:6:1 compression ratio. Another new feature is the updated carburetor that supports the engine with even fuel flow and better mileage.
Control and Safety
The 6-speed gear shift and the ‘final drive: did o-ring chain’ helps you gain complete control over the machine and dictate the amount of power it generates. The bike has Timsun tires and hydraulic disc brakes on both its front and rear wheels (front: 260mm rotor with twin-piston, rear: 240mm rotor with single-piston) – allowing precise movements and braking. The DC-CDI fuel-system is one of the best within the industry and the fuel can carry 10 liters allowing you to venture on longer bike trips. Also, the bike features both electric and kick-start options for ignition, so that you always have a back-up for those rare occasions. In addition, the bike has the latest LCD instrument console that feeds you information about the bike digitally. It also has a 12V 6Ampere battery and LED headlight, taillight, and turn signal.
Comfort
One of the best things about the HJ250 is that the bike has been designed to provide both performance and comfort. The length, width, and height of the bike are a well-balanced 2320x830x1300mm and on top of this, it also has a ground clearance of 330mm and a seat height of 940mm. The total weight of the bike stands at 109 kg which makes it feel neither too heavy nor light. The Suspension is supported on the front by a telescopic, cartridge type, compression and rebound adjustable, 12.2-inch travel, and on the rear by a CNC linkage, spring reload with fully adjustable compression rebound, 11.81-inch travel – which helps the bike run comfortably on off-road terrains.
So now that you know what the HJ250 is capable of, are you ready to take it out for a ride?!
